Obituary Message
Mr. Kanapathipillai Thurai Lingam, originally from Udupiddy, Jaffna, and formerly residing in Colombo, Oman, Ontario (Canada), and Papua New Guinea, passed away peacefully in Sydney, Australia (Ermington) on Friday, 20th June 2025.
He was the beloved son of the late Mr. Kanapathipillai and Mrs. Annamma, and the loving son-in-law of Mr. Selvaratnam and Mrs. Indirani. He was the devoted husband of Selvarani, and the cherished father of Rajika and Dushanthy, as well as the dear father-in-law of Colin.
He was also the loving brother of the late Gnanambikai, Balammbikai (Canada), and Thavamalar Nithiyanandan (Sri Lanka). He was the dear brother-in-law of Rathinarani Rajendran, Selvendran, Yogarani, Rasalingam, and Seetadevi Kanesaratnam.
He was the adored grandfather of Danushka, Zara, and Tegan.
