Mr. Kandiah Rajaratnam, who hailed from Punnalaikattuvan North, Jaffna as his place of birth, and who resided at Nachchimar Kovil Thalaiyadi Road and Kilinochchi, passed away and attained eternal rest on 11-01-2026.
He was the beloved son of the late Kandiah and Thangaichchipillai.
He was the loving son-in-law of the late Sabapathy Ponnaiyah and Annapoorani Amma of Sangathanai Teachers’ Road, Chavakachcheri.
He was the beloved husband of Punitharani.
He was the loving father of Sudharjana (USA), Gotharjana (United Kingdom), and Punitharajan (Australia).
He was the beloved father-in-law of Ambikumar, Vijayakumar, and Gauri.
He was the loving grandfather of Dr. Adithan, Aadhirai (USA), Aadhavan, Aadhani (United Kingdom), Achuthan, and Abirami (Australia).
He was the beloved brother of the late Rajakrishnar, Thambimuthu, and Thiyagarasa.
He was the loving brother-in-law of the late Sakunthaladevi, Nesamalar, and Annalakshmi.
He was also the beloved brother-in-law of the late Gukathasan, Bhuvanarani, and Kulathasan (Germany), Gunathasan (Canada), and Dr. Pushparani (Rada – USA).
