Miss Komallavalli Kumarasamy, who was a passionate teacher, worked in Maldives and living her retired life in Kotahena passed away peacefully on the 28th April 2025.

She was born in Manipay, Jaffna and the beloved daughter of Late Mr N Kumarasamy and Late Mrs Annaluxmie Kumarasamy.

She was also lovingly known as Kitchi and Asai Anta

She was the loving sister of Late Pathmasani, Late Mr Bhavananthan, Late Mr Nirmalanthan and Mrs Thanaluxmie (Kiruba, Colombo ,Sri Lanka) and loving sister in law of  Late Mr Nadarasa, Late Mrs Indradevi Bhavananthan, Late Mr Sunderalingam and Mrs Maria Kumarasamy (Radtha, Canada)

She was also the loving aunty of Janani (UK), Dilani (UK), Late Thanuja, Ramanan (India), Reshikesan ( Canada) and Abbarna(Canada) 

She was also the loving Grandmother of Surekha(Trinidad), Lavan(UK), Lavisha(UK), Isabelle(Canada) and Madeleine(Canada)
