She was the only daughter of the late Principal Somasundaram and Teacher Kanagamma,

She was the beloved daughter-in-law of the late Kathiramalai and Thangarathinam,

She was the loving wife of Teacher Kathiramalai Varatharajan of Dandenong,

She was the devoted mother of Rathisan and Divya Priya,

She was the beloved sister of Ganesarathinam (Melbourne), Balachandran (Canberra), and Thavasothi (Canada),

She was the sister-in-law of Mahendran (Sydney), Pranavendran (Sydney), Bhuvanendran (UK), and the late Gnanendran,

She was the loving sister-in-law of Chandravasanthi, Vijayambigai, Komathy (Canada), Latha, Thushitha, Premalatha (UK), and the late Bhavaniamma, Kamala, Devakiyamma, Maheswaran, and Yogeswari of Batticaloa,
