Saraswathy Nadarajah, originally from Vadakkamparai, Tholpuram, Jaffna and residing in Wellawatte, Colombo, passed away peacefully in Colombo on Wednesday, 30th April 2025.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Ponniah and Rasamma, and the loving wife of the late Thurayappa Nadarajah.
She was the dear sister of the late Paramanandam Shanmugarajah, Seenivasan, Ponnuthurai, Ramanathan, Kailainathan, Kanagambikai, and Dhanalakshmi.
She was the cherished mother of the late Santhini and Malini, and of Dr. Vasanthini, Dr. Menaka, and Sivasakthi.
She was also the loving aunt of Ramanathan, Somaskanthan, Kulasingham, Umadeva, and Muralikaran.
She was the beloved grandmother of Dr. Abirami, Dr. Malmarugan, Dr. Aarani, Saravanan, Eshani, Eshanth, Sangavi, Dr. Sukhitharan, Dr. Abinav, Dr. Shalini, and Lindal.
She was the adored great-grandmother of Aarthi, Ashwin, Lashya, Aathiya, and Surya.

Her remains will be kept for final respects at Mahinda Florist, 591 Galle Road, Dehiwala–Kalubowila on Sunday, 4th May 2025 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by funeral rites and cremation.
