Mrs. Poongavanam Shanmugalingam, who was born in the 9th ward of Vallan, Pungudutivu, Jaffna, and lived in London, passed away today 16/06/2015 in Colombo.

She is the daughter of the late S.K.Aiyampillai Pakiyam and his wife, 

The daughter-in-law of the late Rasaiah and Rasamma,

Loving wife of the late Shanmugalingam,

Dear sister of the late Kathirkamu, the late Parimalam, the late Thirunavukkarasu (France), the late Amudasurabi (Colombo), the late Sivapatham (Canada) and the late Manivannan (Switzerland),

Sister-in-law of the late Thomaskanthan, Poolokasingham, Konesalingam, Bhagyalakshmi, Chargunavathi (Vanitha), the late Mahendran,Sivayogaraja, Nandini, Deivanayaki (Bava).
