1st Year Remembrance of Mr. Sellathurai Nadarajah, formerly of Ezhuthumattuvāl Vizhuvalai, Jaffna, and a resident of Usanai.

Though one year has passed,
your memory still feels fresh, Appa.
When I close my eyes, it’s only you,
and when my heart opens, it’s your love I feel.

Your voice may no longer be heard,
yet it echoes within me every single day.
Your hands may no longer touch me,
yet they continue to guide my life.

The love you left behind
has become eternal within my heart.
Every moment, only your memories
