Mrs. Sinnammah Kandiah, born in Karaveddy, Jaffna, and a resident of London, United Kingdom, passed away peacefully on Sunday, 21.12.2025, and attained the feet of the Lord.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Kandiah and Vallipillai,

the beloved daughter-in-law of the late Velupillai and Parvathi,

the loving wife of the late Kandiah,and the dear sister of the late Ponnamma.

She was the loving mother of Kasilingam (Kasi – France), Kanmani (Kannamma – Germany), and Kamaladevi (Vanitha – London),

the affectionate mother-in-law of Malarvizhi (France), Amuthalingam (Germany), and Sreeskandaraja (London),

the beloved grandmother of Kajintha, Karan, and Kajan,and the cherished great-grandmother of Ajitha, Sajitha, Madhuja, and Saruja.

She was the fond great-great-grandmother of Kapooran and Prasad,and the loving great-great-great-grandmother of Shayan.

She was the dear sister-in-law of Chinnamma, Vallipuram, Chellamma, Parameswari, Maheswari, and Chellathurai,

the loving cousin-sister of Kidnapillai, Vallipuram (Appar), Krishnapillai, Gunaretnam, Chinnathambi, Parameswari, Rajeshwari, and Mallikadevi,and the affectionate aunt of Sivarasa, Gunapalasingam, Jayakodi, Amirthalingam, and Kanagasabai.

She was the beloved younger aunt of Muthupillai, Thiraviyanayagi, Thangamma, Kumari, Rajani, Parvathi, Siyamala, Yamuna, Anjala, Suchirani, Sridharan, Mahendram, Samini, and Kalavathi,

the respected elder aunt of Kanagaretnam, Vijayaretnam, Thamaraiselvi, Sasikaran (Karan), Vasuki, Dasa, Janakan, and Nitru,
and the senior aunt-in-law of Vallinayagi, Nandakumar Parvathi, Bhaskaran, Prabhakaran, Valarmathi, Arimarugan, Karunakaran, Gauri, Santhini, Kaladeepan, Rasa, Sumathi, Vignaraja, and Devakumar.

She was the loving grandaunt of Uthayaputhiran (Uthayan), Babitha, Kamaladevi, Vijayakumari, Selvarasa, Gunalini, Gunaseelan, Santhan, Deepan, Akitha, Ajanthan, Anoyan, Anusia, Thanusia, and Girija,

She was also a dear and loving friend of Pushparani.
