Mrs. Velupillai Parameswari (Kachcheri Akka), originally from Perungadu, Pungudutivu, and a long-time resident of Kachcheriyadi, Nallur Road, Jaffna, was residing in Markham, Canada, and passed away peacefully on Thursday, 03rd July 2025, in Canada.

She was the beloved daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. Kandaiya and Sinnamma of Kachcheriyadi, Pungudutivu, Jaffna.

She was the loving daughter-in-law of the late Mr. & Mrs. Karthikesu,

She was the beloved wife of the late Mr. Velupillai,

She was the dear sister of the late Karunanandam, Selvaratnam, Thiagarajah, and Sornakanthi.

She was the loving mother of Sasikala, Sasikaran (Siri), and Prabhakaran (Praba).

She was the beloved mother-in-law of Yoganathan (Rajan), Shyama, and Chandrakala,

She was the cherished grandmother of Harees, Abira (Anand), Shayra (Krishanth), Praveen, Ramya, and Rebecca,

She was the loving great-grandmother of Vishwa and Aditi,
