Mrs. Vivekananda Chithra

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mrs. Vivekananda Chithra, who was born in Theiyanawela, Kandy, and resided at Armour Street, Colombo. She peacefully departed for her heavenly abode on 04th September 2025.

and the cherished daughter of the late  Venkatasalam Saraswathi,

She was also the loving daughter-in-law of the late  Kumarasuwamy Meenatchi, retired senior postal officer of Pungudutivu,

She was the beloved wife of Mr. Kumarasuwamy Vivekananda of Pungudutivu, 3rd ward,

She will be deeply remembered as the devoted mother of Mr. Selvachandran (Customer Experience Manager, LB Finance) and Mr. Visithiran (Commi 2, Royal Colombo Golf Club),

She was the affectionate sister of the late Rajagopal,  the late Sabapathy, the late Chandrasekaran,  the late Sathiyamoorthy, and Mrs. Sarveswari, Mr. Singaravelu, Mrs. Sitalatchumi, and Mr. Sankarapillai,

She was also the dear sister-in-law of the late Balachandran (retired postal officer, Pungudutivu), Mr. Gunendran (Switzerland), Mrs. Padmaloshani (Canada), Mrs. Pushparani, Mrs. Somaswari (Vavuniya), and the loving sister-in-law of Mrs. Yogamalar (London), Mrs. Sudharsani (Kandy), and Mrs. Sivanandini (Vavuniya).
